Mahi Time
For barbers

Barber booking software that handles walk-ins as well as it handles online

Half your clients book ahead. Half walk in. Mahi Time treats both as first class, queue display, named slots, and a fair "next up" rotation across the team.

What changes when you run barbers on Mahi Time

Walk-in queue

Tap a button to add a walk-in to the queue. Estimated wait time shows on a kiosk screen by the door. Clients can scan a QR code to leave the shop and get an SMS when they're up.

Fair-share rotation

Auto-allocate walk-ins to the next available barber by service skill, not by who happens to look idle. Stops the senior barbers from taking all the easy fades.

Online for the regulars

Regulars book ahead through your Instagram or Google Business link. No more "you free at 5?" texts.

Cash + card

Take EFTPOS via Windcave terminal or Stripe Terminal. Cash sales recorded in the same till.

No commission ever

Every walk-in is yours. Mahi Time takes no commission on bookings.

Made for Aotearoa

Public holidays, GST, NZ phone format, NZ data centre.

Questions barbers owners ask

Can the kiosk show the queue and let walk-ins add themselves?

Yes. The kiosk mode is part of every workspace at no extra cost. iPad in a stand by the door. Walk-ins tap their name + service, get an SMS when they're close.

How does Mahi Time charge per barber?

NZ$109/month for the first 2 barbers. NZ$21/month each after that. No senior/junior tier; every chair is the same price.

Can clients book a specific barber?

Yes. They pick "any" or a specific barber. You can also configure named-only services (e.g. a beard restyling that only one of you does well).

Does it handle hot towel + beard trim add-ons?

Yes. Service add-ons are configurable per base service; client picks them at booking and they flow through to the till.
